Photography has been a passion of mine in one form or another since I was a kid. I was always shooting videos with my fathers VHS camcorder until college where I majored in Film with a focus on Cinematography and supplemented with traditional Photography classes. Since then I often have a camera of one kind or another in my hand, and take pictures of just about anything that interests me. My tastes of subjects and approaches has changed over time, but the capturing of images in its simplest form has always and likely will always be a fundamental joy of mine.
My photography eventually earned me an award for a Canon Camera contest called the Canon Photo 5. I won with an image I took of my wife Haejin while she was pregnant with out son, Torin. Below are some articles about the contest and the photo.
